A Brief Overview of How Martin Luther Created ProtestantismMartin Luther creator of Protestantism and the man who led the Christian reformation and branched away from the pope. This movie shows how a single man opened up new possibilities for the world in exploration of faith. He vows to be a monk but struggles in his mind about the devil and god. To seek god his father tells him to go to Rome. While in Rome Luther is disgusted by what he sees; He sees priests with hookers, relics used as tourist attractions and worst of all poor people buying their ancestor out of purgatory. When returning the priest sets him of again to doctorate in theology in Wittenberg. While in Wittenberg he sees Peter Tetzler helper of Pope Leo X, come by with more in indulgences papers. He is outraged when he sees the poorest people who can barely afford food buying these worthless pieces of paper. So he writes down the 95 theses against the roman church and nails it against the church door. The people who believe in him use the printing press to copy the 95 theses to spread it more quickly. The Roman church hear of this man called Luther and oblige him to stop, or otherwise getting exiled from the Roman church. His conscience battles between choosing god or the roman church, he decides to choose for god and keeps telling his views of the roman church and its distortional system.
