When Chuy Came Home
Upon the day I was to procure my dog, Chuy, wasn’t foreseen and yet the fact of obtaining him was. Let me clarify, Chuy was a remuneration for me because I passed into Middle School as one of the top for my grade level. The only time I missed school was in kinder due to an ear surgery (but that’s another story) and they exempt me from that, so technically I never was absent. Also I managed to achieve A+ honor roll my whole time at my Elementary school.
Now constructing plans for Chuy and finding out where to obtain him was a challenging task…and as a matter of fact I didn’t even know what to name him at the time, at least not until I got him. Now not until I was in the last six weeks of the first semester in sixth grade did we perceive where to where to get my dog.
As it turned out while my father’s friend Luis’s dog went out to use the restroom it never came back. The following day she had returned and they took her to the veterinary clinic for a check up. It turned out that their dog was going to be pregnant. Because of this they had to get rid of the puppies. Luckily my Dad and Luis were good friends so they let my dad pick a dog when the puppies were born. Now according to law Chuy had to be six weeks old to be able to get sold but not unless with the consent of the owner, however my dad got Chuy when he was four weeks old so I got Chuy early.
