In 2005, there was nearly 6,420,000 auto accidents in the united states. 29 million people were injured and 42,636 people were killed this information is based on data collected by the Federal Highway Administration. One of the most common necessities could be one of the most dangerous things to do and we don’t even realize it. Some of us are safe drivers who always were seatbelts, look both ways before crossing a stop sign, use our signal lights to let people know when we are about to turn. For all those good drivers there is also lots of reckless drivers.
Driving a vehicle for some people can be just a joy ride, a drive to work, an emergency or just an errand. Whatever our needs for driving are we face extreme dangers in the roads. Drunk drivers are out there and you never know were you will encounter a driver who is swerving off the road. In addition there is also drowsy drivers who don’t want to loose any time by taking a short nap. A drowsy driver is as dangerous as a drunken driver.
There are many careless drivers who most people think its teenagers and in one way I support that. Teens now days that use there cell phone while driving, for example texting while driving is very dangerous. Smoking a cigarette while driving and talking on your cell phone is extremely dangerous.
