Reasons for Adoption

According to the adoption network in 1944 50,000 children were adopted in a year. In addition, by 2002 it reached a high of 127,441 children. Adoption has become more and more popular as the years go by. The term “adoption” means to take into one’s family through legal means and raise as one’s child. They’re different reasons why an adult would choose to adopt a child. The adopter could be frightened of the birthing process, the adopter could be unable to reproduce, or in the case of the adolescent, he/she could have come from an abusive family.
One of the main reasons for women adopting is because of the frightening birthing process. Some don’t want to go through that pain while others don’t like the aftermath look. Women, when they are young, verbalize their future pregnancy without any visual data of the process. Selfish women worry about their figures instead of innocent life that can be produced through them. In addition, they find alternative options to receiving a child. The first option is always adoption. Women want to experience the love and joy of raising a child; however, the thought of the baby not actually being biological sometimes distresses the parent. In the end the choices that are made will be the final call.
