The Beliefs of Buddha- A Look at Suffering and The Four Noble Truths

Buddha found that every human being has a common thing after he had experienced as a prince and then a monk. That is, people will think that life is full of suffering if they think about their life and the world. This came out with “The Four Noble Truths”. Life is annoying and hurting is the first noble truth. Human’s suffering was form by old age, poor, sickness and death. However, there are still many other ways which can make people suffer. Even if we try not to think about we will sure die some day, but there will still have something to remind us that it is true. The second Noble Truth is the cause of suffering. We want to prove our existence, and fight to survive. This causes us to suffer. We will suffer more if we try harder to demonstrate ourselves. The Third Noble Truths is suffering can be banished. We can end the suffer by cut out all the desire, which mean we could live a simple life by abandoning our hope about what things should be. The Fourth and the last noble truth is the method to terminate the cause of suffering. We can end it by accomplished the Noble Eightfold Path, which means “right understanding, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness and right concentration”.
