Personal Narrative- My Bike Accident and Scarred Face

Have you ever been through a rough patch in your life, where someone’s talked about your appearance? Like if you broke your arm, had a bad scar, lost a tooth, or anything else that could possibly change the way you look forever? Well to tell you the truth I have, and it wasn’t the best experience of my life either.
One blazing summer in 2001, I woke up with a smile on my face because this was our first block club party in two years! This was the day where I could ride my bike in the street, listen to really nice music, play with my friends, and eat amazing food. I was too excited! The air was lively, the breeze sweet, the birds chirping, and fun was all around. I would ride about in my Barbie jeep, and my bike all day, sip on my Capri Sun, and enjoy the festive event. Life was too good!
Then out of nowhere after I sat in front of my house on my bike, everything went blank. Hours later I awoke in my doctor’s office, because the hospital was not only too away, but it was too expensive! My eyes were blurry and my entire face burned as if it was set on fire. It felt like someone ran a cheese grater across my skin. Blood covered my shirt, my mom and my grandma were sitting in chairs crying, and I didn’t remember anything that had happened days, hours, or even minutes before my accident.
